Garland Ranch Hike
Return to Events page

Wildflowers were blooming and the creek running cold and fast as members of the Monterey Bay Chapter hiked Terrace and Garzas Creek Trails in Garland Regional Park (Carmel Valley) in early March. Unusually heavy rains made the creek crossing (actually five crossings!) an adventure to remember, whether it was negotiating partially inundated footbridges or fording the stream at the last crossing. As the photographs show, a great time was had by all: AEP members, friends, a hiking baby, and one wet dog!
